Bradley Wright-Phillips’ seventh-minute goal against the Chicago Fire last weekend lifted him above former LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane in the MLS record books.
BWP now has 84 regular-season goals in his MLS career, moving into sole possession of 13th place on the MLS all-time scoring list, just five goals behind No. 12 Roy Lassiter (88).
"It is nice, it shows consistency,” Wright-Phillips said. “It's something I've really worked on.”
Wright-Phillips’ 15th goal of the season in Chicago also made him just the second player in MLS history to record 15+ goals in four straight seasons, the other being Robbie Keane.
