The 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship kicks off in Costa Rica on February 17 - three days after the 18th birthday of New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams. The RBNY Academy graduate is a touch young for the present U-20 cohort, but he was recently included in a US U-19 Men's National Team camp, and clearly showed well enough to earn a look from the U-20s: Tab Ramos has called Adams into the US U-20s' December training camp.
The roster appears to have an eye on some of the younger players in the USA youth national team set-up: Nick Taitague is also on the list, and he turns 18 on the day the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship gets started.
