The US U-17 Men's National Team has one objective: qualify for the 2017 U-17 World Cup (after which, it will have another objective: do as well as possible in that tournament). To achieve that goal, the team will have to do well in the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, so the team is preparing for the April tournament with a string of friendlies against regional opposition.
So far, it is going well. In September, the US U-17s beat Guatemala in back-to-back games by an aggregate score of 17-0. A trip to Panama saw a two-game series split with the home team.
