Chris Gloster has been a regular for the U-17s, so no great surprise that he has been called to a group of players that coach John Hackworth says will provide "the base of our qualifying roster".
Qualifying for the U-17 World Cup, to be specific. The CONCACAF U-17 Championship will run from April 21 to May 7. If the young Americans make it to the top four of that tournament (which is expected of them: they are very good), then they will qualify for the 2017 U-17 World Cup, which will be held in India in October.
