Bruce Arena is getting himself out and about as he settles into his second stint as US Men's National Team head coach. A sit-down with reporters on Tuesday, November 29, saw the USMNT's back-to-the-future new manager take the chance to clarify (again) his views on foreign-born players in the national team pool:
I think the phrase foreign-nationals is a very poor term. And I will not use it.
And he spoke to what he sees as some of the team's more immediate needs:
We need a better passer in the midfield than we have.
