New York Red Bulls Academy teams posted a 2-1-4 record against the Philadelphia Union Academy this past weekend at the Red Bulls Training Facility.
Red Bulls U-19’s tied the Philadelphia Union, 1-1, with Omar Sowe scoring the lone goal for the Red Bulls in the fourth minute of action. The Union equalized the match in the 11th minute of play. The draw extends the U-19’s unbeaten streak to five matches, and they remain on top of the division with only four games left in the season.
Red Bulls U-17’s had a great day of pressing and counter-pressing but were only able to take a point from their match against the Union’s U-17 team.
