SAN JOSE, Calif. (July 26, 2016) - The Mexican Under-20 team earned a 2-0 victory over a collection of MLS Homegrowns at Avaya Stadium in the third annual Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game.
Luis Marquez scored twice in the final 12 minutes of the first half to help Mexico become the first team to win a Homegrown Game in regulation.
New York had two players see action in the game as both Tyler Adams and Derrick Etienne, Jr. both entered in the 62nd minute. Adams played right back while Etienne was used in the midfield.
