The New York Red Bulls, including Red Bulls II players Rafael Diaz and Junior Flemmings, and the RBNY Freestyle Crew, served dinner to the Newark community at the BBQ with the Leaguers, presented by ShopRite. After serving dinner, the groups hung out with families and played various outdoor games.
The Red Bulls created the 11 Days of Service initiative to run in conjunction with September 11 - the national day of service and remembrance.
Rather than participate in just one day of service, the New York Red Bulls will participate in 11 different community activations as a tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks on September 11, 2001.
