Adam Fox is a finalist for the 2023 James Norris Memorial Trophy awarded annually to the NHL’s best defenseman. He won the award back in 2020-21 as a sophomore, a feat only accomplished by the legendary Bobby Orr.
Erik Karlsson of the San Jose Sharks and Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche are also finalists for the honor. The winner is voted on by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association and will be announced June 26.
