Henrik Lundqvist was officially inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame last night in a nice ceremony that you had to do research to figure out how to watch. For those who missed it, here is Lundqvist’s Hall of Fame speech from the ceremony. Lundqvist is one of the greatest goaltenders of all time, who revolutionized how the position is played.
Perhaps the greatest disgrace is how the Rangers built their rosters around Lundqvist for his entire career. Even the best Rangers teams in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 were flawed and were largely without an elite talent outside of Lundqvist.
