On Thursday, the Blueshirts dealt Sammy Blais, prospect Hunter Skinner, a conditional first-round pick, and conditional fourth-round pick to the St. Louis Blues for Tarsenko and defenseman Niko Mikkola.
Per multiple reports, the conditions on the picks are as follows:
- Blues will get the second of the Rangers two first-round picks depending on final standings
- If the Rangers make the playoffs, the fourth-round pick becomes a third-round selection
