With the passing of New York Rangers Hall of Famer Rod Gilbert, the reactions for everyone in the hockey world has been swift. There are few former players who were as respected and loved as Rod Gilbert who was the face of the Blueshirts for over 60 years, ever since he signed his first professional contract in 1961.
