The Case to Call Up Morgan Barron

The Rangers have a huge void to fill with Artemi Panarin taking a leave of absence from the team. Not to mention Kaapo Kakko is still out because of COVID protocols. While there are options on the taxi squad, I think this could be the time to make an AHL call-up. That AHL call up should specifically be Morgan Barron.

Barron played center while at Cornell University but since joining the Hartford Wolf Pack he has shifted to left wing. Versatility is already a great quality to have in an emergency recall; Barron could continue to play on the wing, or he could fill a bottom-six center role.
