Not just in terms of ROW (of which they had the least of any team in the NHL), but also in terms of not being bad enough to bottom out in the lottery rankings. As of tonight’s drawing, the team will have the 6th best lottery odds in the NHL — with the three points they grabbed in the final two games of the year pushing them up from 5th.
