Tensions flare after the horn in Rangers’ 2–1 loss as Jonathan Quick throws punches

The New York Rangers played a pretty low event game against the Detroit Red Wings, a game in which the team was out-shot 42-19, but things ratcheted up after the final horn blew. The Rangers pulled Jonathan Quick as they tried to tie the game in the final moments of the game, and after the game was over Mason Appleton fired the puck into the vacated net. That set off Quick, and he made a beeline for the Red Wings forward,
