Chris Kreider is set to join the Anaheim Ducks after the winger waived his no-trade clause and is allowing the New York Rangers to deal him away, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday.
The Rangers will receive prospect Carey Terrance in return with the teams also swapping draft picks, sources said. The deal is pending a trade call.
To make the deal happen, Kreider had to waive his 15-team no-trade list, which he had recently added Anaheim to. The New York Post first reported that Kreider was waiving his no-trade clause.
