The New York Rangers had their first set of cuts, dropping their roster from 52 to 44. Official announcement is below:

Sean Day, Brandon Halverson, Dawson Leedahl, Chris Nell, Vince Pedrie & Ty Ronning have been assigned to Training Camp with @WolfPackAHL.
Nico Gross was assigned to the Oshawa Generals.
