Ryan Strome had been a topic of conversation among the Rangers’ social media following entering Sunday night’s game against the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Strome, the Blueshirts’ second-line center, had failed to score a point through the Rangers’ first four games, and with the Rangers having won just one of those games, the 27-year-old’s slow start was that much more conspicuous.
"I wasn't too happy with my first few games, but I thought my last game was definitely my better one,’’ Strome said Sunday, referring to Friday’s shootout loss to the Penguins in the first game of the four-game road trip.
