The New York Rangers lost their fifth straight game this evening as they were shutout by Ben Bishop and the Dallas Stars. The Rangers put together another hard fought game but they just couldn’t find a way to solve Dallas’ goaltender. Mika Zibanejad was ejected from the game early in the third period on a questionable call, which put the Rangers down man for five minutes.
Alexandar Georgiev put in another solid effort in the crease tonight turning away 23 shots, and keeping the Rangers in this game on the penalty kill.
