Perhaps this time when the New York Rangers try once again to get their season back on track, they’ll have history on their side. The Rangers take a perfect 5-0-0 all-time outdoor record into their clash Friday against the Florida Panthers in the 2026 NHL Winter Classic at loanDepot Park in Miami.
The Rangers have more outdoor wins than any NHL team, and are undefeated in the Winter Classic, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 on Jan. 2, 2012, and the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 in overtime on Jan. 1, 2018. They also won each of their three games in the Stadium, Series, including their most recent outdoor contest.
