Add another towering forward to the growing — literally and figuratively — group the New York Rangers have under contract. The latest is Nathan Aspinall, a 6-foot-7 left wing, who agreed to terms with the Rangers on a three-year, entry-level deal Thursday.
The Rangers selected Aspinall in the fifth round of the 2024 NHL Draft (No. 159 overall). He’s currently the captain for Flint of the OHL, where the 19-year-old leads the Firebirds with six goals and 10 points in six games.
Aspinall has a six-game point streak to begin this season, and already has three multi-point outings and a pair of two-goal games.
