Veteran depth forward Greg McKegg is back in the New York Rangers organization.
Chris Johnston is reporting that McKegg has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Blueshirts for $750k. McKegg was in the Boston Bruins organization last season, scoring one goal in five games with the Bruins.
McKegg was with the Rangers for the 2019-20 season. In 53 games that year, he scored five goals and notched four assists for the Blueshirts. That season, he averaged 9:34 TOI/GP and had a success rate of 49.3 percent on the faceoff dot.
