Following Saturday night’s victory over the Bruins, the Rangers assigned forward Boo Nieves and defenseman Ryan Lindgren to Hartford.

Like goaltender Alexandar Georgiev being sent to Hartford, this should come as no surprise with the Rangers not playing again until January 29th. This will allow the three of them to continue playing games while the Rangers are on their nine day hiatus.
Ryan Lindgren is heading back to AHL Hartford so he can play during the break.
