Shesterkin to Hartford
Contrary to what was written on the site yesterday by yours truly, the Rangers have in fact sent goaltender Igor Shesterkin to Hartford, along with forward Phil di Giuseppe. It should be noted that the headline should’ve read Shesterkin will not be sent down to play in the AHL All Star Game.
With the Rangers being off until they face the Red Wings on the 31st, Shesterkin will be able to get some game action with the Wolf Pack before he is likely recalled.
