The Rangers are expected to start getting real busy this week as they get set to announce the coaching staff for next season. Already listed as part of the staff are Lindy Ruff, Benoit Allaire, and Jerry Dineen per the Rangers website.
Former NHL forward and Head Coach, Joe Sacco may be one of the lead candidates on David Quinn’s list. Sacco hired Quinn as an assistant while he was the bench boss in Colorado.
Sacco amassed a record of 130-134-30 in 294 games from 2009-2013. His best season was his rookie year as coach in 2009-2010 where the Avs finished 2nd in the division with a record of 43-30-9 with a 1st round playoff exit.
