Panarin will become a free agent
The day started with the news Artemi Panarin had switched agents.
That was then followed by an interview where Panarin stated he will go to free agency in July.
“I want to see what happens in the summer, and if I have better options,” Panarin said, according to The Athletic’s Aaron Portzline. “I’m ready for that situation. I know in the summer how hard that will be for me. I’m ready. Still positive.”
Rumors dating back to the summer have linked Panarin to the Rangers and now we will see if this indeed comes to fruition.
