Rangers Roundup: No moves to replace injured Trouba yet, Lundqvist shares positive news, and more

David Quinn and the New York Rangers announced that they will be without defenseman Jacob Trouba for the next 4-6 weeks. The Rangers top shut down defender broke his thumb blocking a shot during the second period in the 5-2 loss to New Jersey.

No replacement for Jacob Trouba…yet

The Rangers practiced today with a defense pairing of K’Andre Miller and Brendan Smith. Also noteworthy, Jack Johnson is still not ready to play and Brandon Crawley is currently assigned to the taxi squad.

From what I’ve been told the Rangers are going to remain status quo for now.
