The Rangers signed 2019 second round pick Karl Henriksson to his ELC starting next season back in April. The 20 year-old pivot has played 44 games for Frolunda and has 7 points. He is also one of just 13 U20 players in the entire league.
After signing his deal he told Swedish media that it was “super cool” and “a dream come true.” Then he revealed that it was already decided that he will play next season in the SHL again with Frolunda. “Yes exactly,” he responded about where he’ll play next season. “And I think that feels good.
