Rangers' David Quinn, three assistant coaches out vs. Flyers due to COVID-19 protocols

The Rangers will play Wednesday night's game against the Flyers without head coach David Quinn and a good portion of their coaching staff.

The team announced before the game that Quinn and assistant coaches Jacques Martin, David Oliver and Greg Brown would be unavailable in accordance with the NHL's COVID-19 protocols and additional health and safety guidelines.

It was unclear if any of the individuals had been infected with COVID-19, were exposed to it or were part of contact tracing.

Hartford Wolf Pack head coach Kris Knoblauch will serve as the acting head coach. He'll be joined behind the bench by Hartford associate head coach Gord Murphy and Rangers associate general manager Chris Drury.
