After two big 60-minute performances and wins that put their season back on stable ground, the Blueshirts let a good start Monday night at the Garden lead to an utter collapse, succumbing to the woeful Senators in a frustrating 6-2 loss.
The post-whistle shenanigans were aplenty, and with two NHL sons in Brendan Lemieux and Brady Tkachuk leading the way for their respective clubs, it was Lemieux getting tossed late in the third period for trying to start another meaningless melee.
