The first casualty of camp has been identified, as goalie Olof Lindbom has been assigned to Hartford. Lindbom was one of six goalies in camp and is the first to be cut among goalies and skaters. We know that Igor Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick will be with the Rangers, so it’s a matter of how the other four play that determines AHL/ECHL status.
UPDATE: The Rangers have assigned goaltender Olof Lindbom to the Hartford Wolf Pack. Brennan Othmann (upper body, day-to-day) will not practice today.
