Per Larry Brooks, the NY Rangers have agreed to terms with Gerard Gallant to be their next head coach.

Gallant was the first and, it looks like, only choice for Chris Drury and the Rangers. He had been rumored for weeks, and it looked like it was his job to lose. As recently as one week ago, it was a matter of when, not if, the Rangers and Gallant came to an agreement.
