What happened on March 22 in the history of the New York Rangers

It may seem impossible to fans of the 2021 New York Rangers, but a Blueshirt once won over 20 faceoffs in one game. It happened on this date in 2009 and it was Chris Drury who set a franchise record by winning 21 faceoffs.

The NHL has been tracking draws since 2005-06 so it is very possible that in the earlier histoyr of the team, another player had won as many as 21 faceoffs, but Drury holds the record.
