The NY Rangers have traded for Vladimir Tarasenko, per Frank Seravalli, ending some rumors about Tarasenko, Timo Meier, and Patrick Kane. Cost has yet to be disclosed.
Tarasenko will likely immediately slot into the 1RW with Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin. It’s assumed this will be a salary retention transaction as well.
This also corrects a big mistake at the 2010 draft.
