The Rangers are in the home stretch of the preseason, as they start their back to back to finish up the exhibition games and finalize the roster. Most of that roster is set, but there is still at least one competition between Will Cuylle, Brennan Othmann, and Jonny Brodzinski for the final forward spot.
The Devils are dressing most of their NHL roster tonight, much like the Rangers. It’s hard to face the Devils and think this is a nothing game, but that’s really what it is. The Devils, if anything, provide a good litmus test for both Cuylle and Othmann, who are playing tonight, to see how they do against another top NHL team dressing its regulars.
