NY Rangers postgame thoughts: Bread-less Rangers make it interesting, but fall to Isles

The NY Rangers fell to the NY Islanders for the first time this season by a score of 4-2. The Rangers actually played pretty well, but they had some bad puck bounces and couldn’t get enough past Thomas Greiss. Penalties hurt them too, as their stick penalties are continuing to mount. Let’s jump into a glimpse at my brain during the game.

  • I can’t even remember the last time I got the Rangers lineup right. David Quinn just doesn’t announce anything until 30 minutes before each game. This time around it’s an Artemi Panarin injury and Pavel Buchnevich to the second line.
