What a night it was on Friday. Vlad Tarasenko scored on his first shot, and the Rangers won a track meet with Seattle after going up big early. Now the Rangers face a true test: A travel day, the second of a back to back, their backup goalie in net, and all of this against the Metro Division leading and Stanley Cup hopeful Carolina Hurricanes. This is a tall order for any team, let alone a team that’s still finding its chemistry.
The Canes are good. They are a very good possession team, deep up and down the lineup, and tremendously skilled.
