Remember the memorable outdoor games in the Bronx when the Rangers faced the Islanders and Devils at Yankee Stadium in January 2014?
Well, another outdoor game is apparently being considered, but this time on the banks of the Hudson River, at Michie Stadium and the picturesque grounds of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Well-connected Canadian writer and broadcaster Elliott Friedman, in his weekly “30 Thoughts” column, wrote:
“Florida played New Jersey at West Point [in the Tate Rink] on Saturday. At the World Cup, there was a rumour going around that the NHL is considering an outdoor game at the football stadium.
