After agreeing with center Derek Stepan on a six-year deal, the New York Rangers have finished taking care of their RFA’s for the upcoming 2015-2016 season.
Rangers management should start planning for their future dilemmas next year, regarding their RFA’s. Specifically, they should be targeting Chris Kreider, who has one more year left at $2.475 million.
Kreider should get a hefty raise in salary, at the end of the next season.
He is one of the fastest skaters in today’s NHL. Standing at 6″3 and weighing 226 lbs, Kreider is a beast on the ice.
