The New York Rangers are currently sitting fourth in the Metropolitan division which does not seem bad at face value. On the surface, it seems fitting for the Rangers to be in fourth place. Not overwhelmingly talented but certainly not totally incapable of keeping up with the pack. A roster consisting of players like Kevin Shattenkirk, Rick Nash, Henrik Lundqvist, Mika Zibanejad, can compete with anyone.
Then, you move on to the coaches.
Alain Vigneault, Lindy Ruff, Scott Arniel are a bizarre group, each with their own strange quirks and coaching decisions. All three coaches seem to make puzzling decisions and fail to ever explain the logic behind them.
