New York Rangers waive Josh Jooris (Report)

Josh Jooris’ short time with the New York Rangers hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows.

After appearing in just 12 games in which the negatives seemed to outweigh the positives, Chris Johnston reported this morning that the Blueshirts opted to waive Jooris just 29 games into the season.

The 26-year-old produced just two points in his 12 appearances and was beginning to fall out of favor with Alain Vigneault.

The former Calgary Flames’ forward got off to a solid start with the Rangers until suffering a separated shoulder in the waning days of October against the Boston Bruins.
