With less than two weeks until the NHL Entry Draft, the New York Rangers are going to be short-handed in draft picks, especially in the first round.
In this year’s edition of the draft, the team is without a first round selection for the third straight year. This is due to the various trades the Rangers were involved in bringing the likes of Rick Nash and Martin St. Louis to Broadway.
As a result, the Rangers have had to look later in the draft for potential prospects with enough talent to one day make an impact for the team.
