The NHL regular season truly is a grind unlike any other. The 82 game regular season is an uphill marathon. No matter what, things will never go exactly to plan and will force a team to adapt to survive. Over the course of an entire season, teams will go through ebbs and flows. There are peaks and valleys during the marathon.
