New York Rangers to begin voluntary workouts Tuesday

The New York Rangers will have their training facility open on Tuesday to begin players’ voluntary workouts. This will be the first time players from the Blueshirts have skated together since the NHL paused their season on Mar. 12.

New York Post’s Mollie Walker reported that Brendan Smith, Brendan Lemieux, Chris Kreider, Marc Staal, Adam Fox, and Phillip Di Giuseppe are expected to be the group participating in on and off-ice workouts today at MSG Training Center.

The start of Phase 2 is the next step in the league’s Return to Play guidelines.
