This was supposed to be the reunion with Mats Zuccarello, as the New York Rangers faced their longtime teammate for the first time in an opposing uniform. That will have to wait until next season after Zuccarello suffered a broken arm blocking a shot in his Stars debut.
As for the Rangers, it will be the baby Rangers again with nine players 23 years-old or younger in the starting lineup. Brett Howden will see action in his second game back from Injured Reserve and Alexandar Georgiev will get his second straight start in goal.
