The New York Rangers have suspended center Lias Andersson, per Larry Brooks of the New York Post.
Lias Andersson has been suspended by Rangers after leaving Wolf Pack following trade request. NHL Roster freeze in effect through 12/27.

This should come as no surprise. The formality of a suspension was expected when Andersson decided to leave the Hartford Wolf Pack after he requested a trade from the organization on Saturday.
Andersson has had a very rocky start to his NHL career.
