The team came into the season with the expectation of being one of the worst teams in the entire league in hopes of securing a franchise-altering talent in the entry draft to make all of the losing worth it. At 8 p.m. tonight in Toronto, the NHL will draw the ping pong balls.
No matter where the Rangers end up picking in the draft, it is of the utmost importance to land an impact player. Granted, the closer the team is to the tenth overall pick than the first, the less of a chance at one of the best pieces.
