Jesper Fast, Michael Grabner, Oscar Lindberg, Antti Raanta. All talented players that the New York Rangers could lose for nothing in the upcoming Expansion Draft.
Losing either of the Fast/Lindberg duo would diminish New York’s ability to own a depth advantage over their opponents.
Surrendering Michael Grabner would mean giving up a player who scored 27 goals last season, while also serving as a top penalty killer.
Seeing Antti Raanta leave would deprive New York of their back-up netminder and top option behind Henrik Lundqvist.
None of the options seem remotely appealing, but they are certainly the top four players to pluck from as of today for the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
