New York Rangers look to take the season series against Tampa Bay

On Tuesday, the New York Rangers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in overtime and will try to continue their success as they embark on a two game road trip when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in an Eastern Conference match-up.

It was a very mediocre month of October with the New York Rangers going 4-5-1. Fortunately, they’ve been able to flip the script and show signs of life in the month of November, going 4-1-1. The Blueshirts have outscored their opponents 21-18 during this span and are finally starting to play like a compatible unit. Since the last time these two teams met, the Rangers have jumped into the sixth spot in the Metropolitan Division, while the Lightning have dropped into the sixth spot in the Atlantic Division.
