For the most part, the New York Rangers are still in tact. However, seeing familiar faces such as Derek Stepan and Dan Girardi go were difficult. They were both integral parts of the 2014 Cup Final Rangers squad, as well as many other memorable Rangers teams.
Of course, there were many more moves than those two going, but since what’s done is done, our focus now shifts elsewhere. What about the moves the Rangers didn’t make? The ones they had thought about but decided against?
Exactly how much have those non-moves been beneficial to this team that’s in a “win-right-now” mindset?
